Trachycarpus Wagnerianus Palm Small

Often referred to as the "aristocrat" of the Trachycarpus family, the Trachycarpus wagnerianus is a highly sought-after, premium palm. While similar to the T. fortunei, it is distinguished by its more compact, stiffer, and smaller fan-shaped leaves, which possess a richer, deeper green color. Watering

Moderate. As with most palms, it appreciates consistent moisture during the growing season. In a container, ensure you water thoroughly when the top few centimeters of compost feel dry. It is slightly more forgiving than other species but still requires good drainage to avoid root stress.

Soil & Drainage

Requires fertile, free-draining soil. If potting, use a high-quality, loam-based compost enriched with horticultural grit. It is essential to ensure the pot is raised on feet to prevent water from stagnating at the base.
