Sunlight

Full Sun to Partial Shade. It is very adaptable but performs best in a spot where it can receive plenty of light. The white bark color is best appreciated in an open, well-lit position.

Watering

High (Initial). As a mature 4-meter tree, it requires significant water during its first two years to establish a strong root system. During dry summers, ensure deep, thorough soakings, especially if it is planted in a container or a newly established garden bed.

Soil & Drainage

Highly adaptable to most soil types, including sandy, chalky, or heavy clay soils. It prefers moisture-retentive but well-drained conditions. When planting, incorporate plenty of organic matter to encourage strong root development.
