Cordyline Australis Red Star Small

Sunlight

Full Sun. To keep that deep, rich red color as vibrant as possible, it really needs a bright, sunny spot. It will grow in partial shade, but the leaves may turn a bit greener.

Watering

Moderate. Keep the soil slightly moist during the spring and summer. Once it's settled in, it’s quite hardy, but always make sure to let the soil dry out a little between waterings. Be careful not to let it sit in soggy, wet soil, especially in winter.

Soil & Drainage

Well-drained soil is a must. If you're keeping it in a pot, use a good quality potting mix with a bit of extra grit or perlite mixed in to ensure water doesn't pool around the roots.
