Sunlight

Full Sun. It needs a warm, bright, and sheltered spot to thrive and produce plenty of flowers and fruit. A south-facing wall outside in summer or a bright, sunny window indoors is ideal.

Watering

Moderate. Water thoroughly during the spring and summer, allowing the top couple of inches of soil to dry out before watering again. Reduce your watering quite a bit over the winter, but never let the compost dry out completely.

Soil & Drainage

Requires well-drained, slightly acidic soil. Since it will likely be kept in a container, it is highly recommended to use a specialized citrus compost. Good drainage is absolutely crucial to prevent the roots from rotting.
