Cedar Tree Green

SKU · CTG|250 x 110 cm|Extremely hardy down to -20°C. Built to withstand severe winter temperatures without protection.

The Green Cedar is a highly popular, evergreen conifer known for its lush, bright green foliage and neat, upright shape. It’s an excellent choice for creating a dense privacy screen, a natural windbreak, or a formal hedge without growing out of control like some faster-growing varieties. With its naturally tidy habit, it requires very little pruning, making it a brilliant, low-maintenance option for framing entryways or planting along property lines.

Expert Advice
Size (H × W)
250 x 110 cm
Sunlight
Full Sun to Partial Shade. It grows best and maintains its tightest, densest shape when planted in a sunny spot, though it will happily tolerate a bit of light shade during the day.
Watering
Moderate. Keep it well-watered during its first year to help the roots establish deeply. Once settled, it’s quite resilient, but it will appreciate a good soaking during long, hot dry spells in the summer to keep the foliage looking fresh and green
Soil & Drainage
Adaptable to most soil types, provided they are well-drained. It definitely doesn’t like to sit in waterlogged, soggy ground, so if you have heavy clay, mixing in some compost or grit before planting will help keep the roots healthy.
